About the Game

GHOSTS FPS is a single-player first-person shooter focused on tense tactical combat, deep environmental exploration, and survival horror in a surreal, reality-fractured megastructure. You are the lone survivor of a dropship crash on an enemy world, tasked with penetrating an impossible fortress that appeared from nowhere. Your objective: reach the deepest layer and uncover what broke reality itself.

The fortress is a patchwork of fused parallel timelines — brutalist industrial halls, ancient Roman gardens, untouched primordial forests, floating islands, and zones of pure void. Every door you open and every puzzle you solve reveals fragments of incompatible worlds forced together by a long-dead civilization’s catastrophic experiment. Progress is never linear: paths are hidden, locked behind environmental puzzles, cryptic terminals, and physical manipulation of the environment. There is no minimap. You navigate by memory, observation, and the clues you collect.

Combat is deliberate and punishing. “Corrupted” soldiers patrol with realistic tactics — they take cover, flank, suppress, and coordinate. Every shot matters; ammunition and health are scarce. All weapons fire physical projectiles (no hitscan), with modular attachments and rare gear modules that radically alter playstyle: ricochet prediction, homing explosives, stealth fields, double jump, and more. Expect small, high-stakes firefights rather than enemy waves.

The atmosphere blends archaeological dread with cosmic unease. The world feels both ancient and alive, broken yet functioning according to rules you only gradually understand. Sound design draws from Cryo Chamber dark ambient and Half-Life-style tension. Visuals emphasize mid-poly concrete brutalism, strong volumetric lighting, and particle-driven environmental storytelling.
